Rouji has ventured into the realm of artisan perfumery fairly recently, channelling her creativity and passion into crafting unique fragrances. Her transition from a dynamic career as a seasoned finance professional and a creative entrepreneur, spanning over three decades, reflects her belief in continuous personal growth and embracing new challenges.
Rouji holds the designation of Fellow Chartered Certified Accountant (FCCA) and is an alumna of the University of Oxford's Saïd Business School.

Artistic Talent
Rouji embarked on her journey in the art of perfumery in 2020. Over the next two years, she dedicated herself to studying raw materials, understanding the interactions of aromatic compounds, and training her olfactory skills. Her commitment to blending techniques and methodologies required immense patience, persistence, and passion.
Combining skills acquired from her deep rooted heritage since childhood. and applying theory to practice, Rouji handcrafts her perfumes using natural tinctures. Steeping ingredients like vanilla pods, clove buds and bay leaves to form rich accords. These are then blended with carefully chosen essential oils, using traditional maceration methods that allow the perfume to mature gracefully, developing deeper resonance over time.
Ultimately, this dedication culminated in her mastery as a perfumiest.
